Carmel Pre- University College was established under Carmel Education Society®

2003-04

Rendezvous – An Intercollegiate event

Alexander Inter class Cricket Tournament was introduced.

Carmel’s First Annual magazine was released.

2004-05

Beginning of involvement with the Department of Pre-University Education by hosting District Level Cultural, Sports and Academic Programmes.

2005-06

Staff council was initiated, which constituted staff from the language, science and commerce departments to work for a two-year tenure Acquired additional playground facilities for Basketball, Volleyball and Throw ball.

2006-07

Introduction of Electronics as a new subject

2007-08

Alexander Block with Library, Laboratories, Cafeteria and Sky Walk was inaugurated in January 2008

2008-09

Time to go digital – Ciftech Solutions provided admission and student management software.

2009-10

Security personnel for night and day was introduced.

SMS system was introduced

2010-11

Management acquired land and developed it into Carmel playground

Mobile deposit facility was introduced

2011-12

Every Mentor monitored progress of students assigned to them. They also recorded the achievements of students.

First B D Camp in association with Lions Blood Bank was introduced.

Eco Club and Community Service units were introduced.

2012-13

Creation of Kitchen garden / medicinal plants on campus by Community service and Eco-club

2013-14

Special academic improvement classes were introduced for slow academic learners.

2014-15

Carmel Swacch Campaign was launched on Nov 21st 2014

2015-16

Introduction of food fest, an Annual event by the staff council.

All proceeds collected are used for charity.

2016-17

Introduction of Teens Week celebration by teachers to appreciate students and develop rapport with them.

2017-18

Introduction of Lakshya – a Career guidance programme in collaboration with Banjara Academy.

2018-19

Introduction of Value added programme, Tally ERP-9 certificate course.

2019-20

Introduction of NSS Scheme (National Service Scheme).

2020-21

G-suite and training of all staff to handle classes of G-meet and G-classroom

Parenteye – a communication app was introduced

2021-22

Mindler-a Career Guidance Programme was introduced.

2022-23

Introduction of NCC mixed battalion under 39 Kar Bn.

Planting of 75 plants on Independence Day to cover green belt.

2023-24

Launch of Carmel Throwball Championship
